 Elections Canada has confirmed you can designate your lake residence as your ordinary residences for the purposes of voting in the upcoming federal election Monday, October 21, 2019.  Development Officer Imai Welch has put together a brief information sheet to assist residents who are considering new development on their property or easement. This information is designed to answer frequently asked questions on general development queries.  

 Residents are reminded to dispose of their grass clippings on their own property, or take them to the local landfill. The clippings are not to be discarded on Summer Village Property. Recently, ditches along Vine Avenue have been used to dispose of grass clippings.  This is strictly prohibited.  The board of directors of the Sundance Beach Easement Holders Association (EHA) is trying to develop a more detailed list of guidelines to be followed in connection with development of the lakeshore lands located within the Summer Village. The lakeshore lands includes the “easement lands” owned by the EHA and the “PUL" (Public Utility) lands owned by the Summer Village.
