Thanks to all who have provided feedback on the draft Municipal Development Plan (MDP). Bylaw #2020-07 has been given first reading, and there was a Public Hearing on March 4, 2021. Municipal Development Plan - Draft - January 21, 2021 Suggested revisions which will be incorporated into the MDP: Revisions 2nd & 3rd reading of the bylaw are planned for during the March 11, 2021 Regular Council Meeting.

Please note that effective Friday, March 5, 2021, East Vine Avenue (from ~ #95 - #112) will be closed to all motorized traffic until further notice.  This includes vehicles as well as quads and snowmobiles.  That portion of roadway is still under construction.  We will also be seeding grass in the spring.  Once the ground is solid and the grass has taken root the roadway will be re-opened.

 Contractors have completed work on the beaver removal project.  Residents are urged to inform the Summer Village Office if they are aware of any more beaver activity along the beach front.  Beaver lodges can seriously undermine the integrity of the beach front, and Lakeshore Drive.  

 Residents are advised to keep clear of the beach front near #5 Lakeshore Drive. The Summer Village has a crew working to remove beaver from the area. Your cooperation is appreciated.
