The Passing of William "Doug" McKenzie

Area Development Planning Meeting

 The Summer Villages of Sundance Beach, Itaska Beach, Golden Days and Leduc County are looking for your input into a comprehensive development planning plan to establish a long term vision for the area. New Mailboxes!

Canada Post has installed new mailboxes in front of the Village Office. You will need to pick up a key from the post office in Thorsby to get your mail out of your box. The new boxes are supposed to be more difficult for thieves to access.

Spring Clean Up

 The Summer Village will not have large bins for clean-up this spring nor fall. If you have extra garbage that won't fit in your regular garbage can, it needs to go to a transfer station or landfill. Spring Road Restrictions

 Road restrictions for heavy loads on Village roads will begin April 1st. Loads must be fifty percent of the truck's axle weight allowance. This restriction will be returned to the normal seventy five percent, and posted on the website, after the spring thaw is complete.

Transfer Station Fees

 Transfer Station Access Cards are now 15 dollars per use. The new fee rate applies to both the Sunnybrook and the Mission Beach Transfer Stations. Cards may be purchased at the Summer Village Office Wednesday-Friday 11-4 On the weekends, Kim Falkenberg has tickets he can distribute.  Call Kim 780-914-1805
